Maddox’s First Birthday!!

On Friday my little man turned ONE!!!  I know I have said it 100 times but I cannot believe a year has already passed!!  It has been the best year of my life!!  He has brought so much Joy to my life, just looking at his face can make the worst day turn into a bright one.  As much as I am loving his baby stages, I look forward to the future and all the fun times and special moments we will have with him.

His big birthday party will be on June 26th.  We had to push it out a week because my family had wedding events going on and then with today being Father’s Day, this weekend was just not an option.  So Friday, we went to a park and then gave him a mini party.  It was such a great day!  I’m kinda glad we have to wait a week for his big party b/c it just gives us more reason to celebrate longer!!   His party is going to be a pool party with a Surfer theme.  I have had so much fun planning and can’t wait to see it all come together.  I only have 2 days left to finish up the details so I hope I can get it all done.

Wake Up Birthday Boy!!!

I’m singing Happy Birthday to him.  You can tell on his face he knows its a special day!!  I took him to Nana’s while I worked for a few hours.  Then I picked him up and we headed to McDonalds and got his first Happy Meal!!  We took it to Lineberger Park in Gastonia to eat it and then played on the sprinkler pad and rode the train!! We took Tori with us to make it even more fun!

and play with another dog!!  He maybe nervous about the water but he’s not nervous about dogs twice his size!
