Well, the saying is…when you buy a Carowinds season pass, it pays for itself after 2 visits. So, I guess this trip was FREE!!! Yay!! We have officially made great use of our passes!! Hopefully this wasn’t the last trip, i would like to go at least 2 more times before they close for the winter (maybe I’ll get up the nerve to go to Scarowinds)!! This trip we actually spent the day in the kids section!! Maddox rode 5 rides!! Unfortunately, I didn’t get pics of him on all of them but I got a few rides.
This is my good friend Holly’s daughter…Jaydan. She is 6 and absolutely precious! She just lost her first tooth the day before. This was her first time to Carowinds so she had an exciting couple days…first tooth and first rides!
This is Jaydan’s brother Cross. The airplanes were their very first ride and they had a blast!!
Carousel time!!
Maddox is already sleepy at this point….continue this post to find out when he finally took a nap.
My Mom is absolutely WONDERFUL!! She just helped us out however she could help us out!! Which meant alot of times waiting with our strollers while we rode rides!! WAVE AT NANA!!
Here we go!!
Round and Round….this ride made me really really QUEASY.
Maddox is getting a little nervous!!
I LOVE this face…he was hanging on to me for dear life!!
Cross, Holly and Jaydan…getting ready to ride the helicopters!!
He’s getting sleepier!!
Okay….don’t judge! Ha! I know people have opinions about the “kid leash” but I have to say….EVERY MOMMY NEEDS ONE!! It was GREAT!! Maddox got to have his freedom walking around and I did not have to stress about him getting away from me!! I got this one a few months ago on clearance at Wal-Mart and I am so glad I did!!
You know what is strange? This little ride just goes around in a circle and Maddox could not ride it….but…he could ride these 2 rides that went way up in the air. I know water may be the factor here but what would be worse….falling into water or falling onto pavement from up in the air? Things that make you go hmmmmm?
We rode the choo choo train!!
Still no nap!
We met up with my sister and Caine and Tori before leaving so that I could ride the Intimidator with Caine. That ride is crazy!! My heart started beating really fast and the anxiety rolled in before getting on. I have rode it twice before but I was still scared….this getting older thing is not good! Ha!
If you look behind my head….that is the first hill on the Intimidator!!
We headed out about 2:30 and ate a picnic lunch before leaving the park. Maddox did not fall asleep until 5:30…..I think that is a record!!
Another blessed day with family and friends….I’m so thankful for the blessings in my life….I know I say that a lot but I also feel I could never say it enough!! I never want to take for granted the privileges I have everyday being a child of a King!!
