14 month Update

Maddox turned 14 months old on Aug 18th so here is what he is up to!!

Maddox,

you are wearing 18-24 months clothes and some 2t

size 5 shoes and size 4 diapers

you say a lot of B words, ball, balloon,book, bath, you still call your sippy cup bottle and of course your favorite word is still Buddy

you say Nana and Mommaw

you run to the stairs when we say, “are you ready to go night night?” and “do you want a bath?”

you love for us to read to you, going outside, swinging at Nana’s and throwing balls (you always have a ball in your hand)

you go to bed between 8 and 9 and sleep until about 8

you eat just about everything…still love bananas and pizza

you LOVE watching football….uh oh….I can see I will be losing the tv for sure in a few years! I took you to the Lincolnton game Friday night and you sat and stared at the game for at least 2 quarters…I feel sure you will always have a love for football…just like Daddy!

I love you sweet boy!!

This weekend was short and busy…I worked Saturday and then we headed to the lake for a going away party for my cousin Summer who is going into the airforce.

I LOVE these guys!!!

Sunday morning was very special, we went to my Mommaw’s church for her Homecoming. Any time spent with my Momaw is treasured. My Mommaw goes to a small Methodist Church.....our home church is a Big Pentecostal Church...so needless to say...the worship service was very different from what we are use to. One thing is still the same though...the presence of the lord!! After church I watched one of the two movies I had rented the night before, The Book of Eli. Very different. I liked it but like I said…different.

I worked today and I’m working the next two days which is not my normal schedule…so I am really missing my time with M. The good news is I will be off for 5 days after that!! Yay!!
