Well, better late than never, right? It took forever for us to get his nursery “picture ready”. Chris would have said it was complete months ago but us women have to have all the details finished!! I love how it turned out and what I love the most is almost everything in his nursery has a story…either somebody made it or I found it for a steal, or I reused things I already had!
If you are interested in my Mom making you or someone you know custom bedding…just let me know and she will be glad to make it!!!
This room use to be our office/junk room…so it felt like it took me forever just to clean it out! It is by far the smallest bedroom in our house so it was a little challenging to fit everything in here! This is the view from the door!
The name behind his crib is one of my favorite things in his room. It turned out that way accidently. I originally painted a circle in a different green that we were going to put the decal in but it turned out BAD!! So after sanding, puttying, repainting, and some molding work….we fixed plan A into plan B. I’m happy Plan A failed even though it was extremely annoying!! It always seems like the simple projects turn into much more!!
The lanterns were from Maddox’s One year Surf party!! My mom made the curtains and pillows. Laura made the blanket. I found the lamp at TJ Maxx and the rocker/recliner was in Maddox’s room!!
I ordered the bookshelf from Target and was very happy with how well it fit into that space. You never know when you order something if it’s going to be what you want. The baskets on the shelf were a TJ Maxx find!!
Laura made the memo board from left over fabric from my bedding. Joy made the letters by modge podging leftover fabric onto them. The plaque that they are on was in Maddox’s room…it was blue and said “too cute for words”, so I just spray painted it and super glued the letters to it. I like the dimension it gives!!
My mom made the bedding and a friend of hers did the monogrammed R. I made the baby!!!! ha! Well, I guess Chris helped a little!! ha! No….actually the baby is a gift….from God!! He gets all the Glory!!
I found the black dresser on craigslist!!! I really lucked up!! It is a super heavy nice dresser, looked brand new and came from a big nice home on Lake Norman….$125…Score!!! It holds a ton of clothes and I even have enough drawers to use one just for diapers!!
One of my friend/clients made the diaper cake and I think it is just too cute. I loved how she put the shower invitation in the lion’s hands. I’m going to be sad when I have to take it a part to use the diapers.
My friend Melinda had the lovey made for him…It is in SC Gamecock colors…she also gave him the cutest onesie with his name in Gamecock fabric…Chris LOVED!!
A sweet cuddly gift from Aunt Jay Jay!!
The bank was a gift for Maddox and we never opened it b/c he had another bank that went better with his room.
I love some baby feet!!!
This was a basket that just got hidden most of the time b/c it was not a color that I liked. I wised up and thought….spray paint it!!! Now it serves as a great storage piece for extra blankets and burp cloths!!
This is on a wall when you first walk in…I will have to trade out pictures when I finally get some developed of Ryder. I love this quote!!
Thanks for touring!!! Hope you enjoyed!!

Where did you find that adorable bedding??
Where did you find that adorable bedding??
How much would your mom charge to do custom bedding?
Ryder's Room is adorable! I saw it on Pinterest and I am in love with the bedding. It is so hard to find cute bedding for boys. I do not know you personally but is it possible to hire your mother to make bedding for my baby boy that is due in March?
